The best marketing I saw in Thailand was a non-internet thing
But in the spirit of integrated marketing, I'm sharing it here anyway

I’m back after a nice Thailand trip diving, hikes, Muay Thai, cycling, astonishing karsts, loads of street food, craft beer and beaches. And since I have this newsletter to run, I kept an eye out for interesting things brands are doing. I must admit I wasn’t as comprehensive in my approach as I could have been - one of my aims on holiday is to reduce screen time. In any case, the regular remarketed / geotargeted Insta ads didn’t really have anything extraordinary. But I did see something offline - yes, good ol’ brick and mortar - which I thought I’d share here.
Honda’s experiential cafe in Phuket
The last leg of our trip was in Phuket Old Town. Amidst the hipster cafes was something called the CUB House by Honda. From the outside, it looked like a branded cafe by the brand with lots of customised bikes, accessories and yes, an attached hipster cafe.
