Long-time readers of this newsletter know that I’m a fan of ‘demonstration’ in marketing. It’s one thing to state a product benefit or brand belief, another thing to show it. Some examples here and here.
This week, I saw another fine example of demonstration marketing, with the bonus of getting some goo'boys adopted. Google Pixel offered to send its latest phones (with their kickass cameras) to adoption centres so they could take better photos of the puppers to increase their chances of getting adopted.
